I am not sure what this is, so I will let the photos speak for themselves. I saw this over a year ago. I have seen a few of them down here in my 2 years in Florida.
This Saturday the Cooking Club I am in had a Halloween themed dinner. It was an absolute blast!
We where having a pumpking carving contest. This was my entry. It didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, I was trying to put too much detail into it. I also started too soon, so the carved parts dried up! I am thinking a little vasaline or something to prevent it from drying up may have helped. Live and learn.
Going back to last Christmas... This is a photo of me driving my dad's 1952 Model A John Deer Tractor. He found out the tractor shipped 4 days before he was born. Isn't that pretty cool? When I went home we needed to cut down a tree that was wanting to fall towards the shed, so we hooked the tractor up to it.
This is my Murcury Cougar. I parked it when I went to collage as I couldn't afford to drive it. 12mpg no matter if I drive it like a madman or a grandpa. We parked it on a sheet of plastic hoping to keep the moisture from the dirt from rotting the bottom of the car out. It seems to have worked so far. The engine hasn't turned over in a long time, so when I go home this holiday season, I may try to get it to turn over. I don't want to start it, I poured a quart of motor oil down the throttle body when I parked it trying to get some oil on top of the pistons so it didn't seaze up on me. Crossing my fingers...
This U-Haul had a strange sequence for it's license plate. If I recall correctly, it was A933933 or something like that with the repeating 9s and 3s. I just thought it was unique. Hey, if anybody rents this truck, let me know if I got the license plate right.
I found this Amature Raidio plate on my ride back from Walmart on Saturday with Katie. We went there for supplies for my cooking club that night and to pick up a printer so I could make my halloween costume.
This odd looking car was parked across the street last week. It doesn't have collector plates on it. I would think a Citreon would be uncommon - this is the first one I remember seeing on the street.
This classic was in the parking lot in Vero Beach where Katie and I had our first date. I took the photo when I was walking back to my car to get some dry socks after I... er... my phone fell into the ocean.
Here is a pair of photos that I asked Katie to take when we where on our first date. This car was parked outside of the bookstore where we sat and talked for a few hours.
I caught 2 more custom plates today. We are running a week long education course at the office, so a lot of people are filling the parking lot. I saw these two walking back from getting my lunch. NO 1 SPA LOANS 4U
Somebody had a sense of humor on this classic car. Hey pops, what kind of car is this? Another one from when I went to visit Katie a few weeks back. I think this was out by Fort Myers.
This one was something corvettish, I don't remember what it was anymore either. I passed this one when I was going to Clearwater to visit Katie when she was on vacation.
Mike and I where walking to 7-Eleven on our morning break at work. As we approached the store, I told Mike "I always wanted one of those." I stopped dead in my tracks in the middle of the street, whipped out the new cell phone with the camera in it, snagged this photo, and said "it's mine now."
I have always pointed out weird and strange vehicles and license plates while in the car. I figured it's about time I have shared some of my findings. This blog is dedicated to my automotive accumulations.
I figured for the first post, I would post a photo of my bus! Well, I don't own the bus, but it does sport an ad for my company website on the back. Close enough right?
