Cries

 $350 down the drain. There aren't enough (non-screen) broken ones to fix this one.

Are you sure it's the display and not something loose inside or even a bad control chip? If I had a part number, I might be able to find a replacement, but that's a hard one.

So, what's the plans for the unit now? You now have a headless mini Linux box.

There are three cracks on the left edge - that black smear in the photo.

I am not sure how it broke. I went to open it up, and I got a nasty surprise. The top case isn't even dented or anything.
