I started to build the 2nd iteration, but got to a point that I need to buy parts – a 6" & 10" duct.
I am not quite happy with how stable the platform holding the barrel lid is. It may get redone yet before I start cutting holes.
The first iteration of the Rocket Mass Forge
This is what it looks like with the burn barrely tore off. The metal sign bent up to be the burn tunnel completely melted away.

Trying to get a feel for the barrel placement so I can use this as a forge.
This seems to work. It is fairly sturdy and gives me a good height to work with.
