I forged some hinges for Bella’s play barn this last weekend. Tonight I put a second coat of paint on the exterior and hung the door.

I have to make a door handle for the barn door. I will try to match the hinges. Eventually I would like to make a proper door latch, but my blacksmithing skills aren’t there yet.
I need to put a 2nd coat of paint on the inside and all the trim. The roof needs a few more pieces made up, and the door and sides will get some white trim to make it look more ‘barnish’..
Looking really good! Can’t wait to see it finished! 🙂
Me neither! I plan on adding a silo and 2 wood sheds. That should give it a very ‘barn’ feel. I may make a small white picket fence and put a bit of garden in it for a ‘field’.
