I made some pressure flaker blocks and some longer pressure flakers tonight

The long flakers are called ishi sticks, and the pads are unique in design as best as I can tell. We shall see if the work well tomorrow.

I also burned out the rocket mass forge trying to finish the one bopper I made. The inner burn chamber is a puddle of melted metal on my brick forge bed. I can hopefully pick up a 55 gallon barrel soon so I can make it right.

Also, the bearings appear to be going out on my radial arm saw. It's starting to howl pretty bad.

What a night!

  1. It's what makes life interesting. I am used to keeping things put together with 'bubble gum and duct tape' as one forum member put it.

These types of things happen to cobbled together junk.

I still have 10 fingers and a garage… it's all good! Me and my shop lived to cobble another day.

Speaking of cobbling… I need to work on that pair of boots I have…

    I digress…
